Lowde Fest 13, Hampshire's premier music and Beer Festival is delighted to announce the first of its fantastic bands who are taking part in this years Festival. Over the coming weeks we will be announcing all the new bands who are signed up.
Over the last ten years, The Snakes have become known as the bad boys of Alt-Country, with their guitar fuelled rock & roll, Uncut Magazine describing them as “Muswell Hill's own Whiskeytown” Their debut album, Songs From The Satellites (2006), brought them to the attention of legendary BBC Radio 2 broadcasters Bob Harris and Mark Lamarr, who both declared themselves fans of the band, with Mark Lamarr inviting them into the studio for a live session, having been particularly impressed by the dark, twang laden delights of 'I'll Be Around'. Now you can hear them live at Lowde Fest 13....not to be missed.
Bare Jams is a really exciting Acoustic Trio with catchy lyrics and upbeat rhythms.
Fusing Pop/R&B/Indie together with the solid raw acoustic vibe, there is no doubt this fab three are going to get you on your feet and dancing. Check them out here and listen to their latest free download.
Northsyde began life in 2005 as Funkydory. Regularly touring up and down the country and breaking into the European scene by 2006-7. A combination of rock, funk and a serious nod to the blues creates a great sound to drive a great party.
Regular Lowde Festers may recognise this great band. Bringin back to life the sound of 60s rock, with a bright contemporary feel, Mellor are welcomed back to Lowde Fest with open arms.
This 4 piece band from Reading have been touring the country and gaining a great momentum.

She's toured with Mika, performed with Skunk Anansie and recently invited to guest vocal with Bastille. Now she's playing Lowde Fest 13. We are in for a thrill....
Meet Martha Paton...at just 21 this incredible singer/songwriter from Hampshire is beginning to attract some serious attention.

Amazingly, the band have been going for less than 9 months, and have already accomplished more than most bands do in two years: a solid, high-octane set, for one, a fabulous collection of songs for another, and their own idiosyncratic style to cap it off.

By popular request and wave of demand from musicians and fans alike, Lowde Fest 13 is proud to present Lowde Fest Unplugged.
If you fancy a break from the main stage and want to chill out in the summer sun to a more acoustic sound, then head on over to the new Lowde Fest Unplugged stage.
Here you will find non stop music from 1300 through till 1900. Some of the countries leading new talent will be performing, and many of the main stage acts are going to also hangout in the more laid back atmosphere, with a different take on their music.
