BEVERLEY KNIGHT MBE is a true soul superstar and on the 7th July 2018 she will be bringing her amazing talent to the Lowde Fest main stage.

Beverley is an award winning singer songwriter (with a string of awards), an actress (most recently from The Bodyguard and Memphis), and has acheived chart topping success across the last two decades. Most recently with the fabulous trio - Leading Ladies.

In 2016 her album Soulsville hit the Album Charts top ten and saw her performing at the Albert Hall with likes of Jools Holland and Tom Jones.

The Album was recorded in a week long session in February 2016 at (Al Green producer) Willie Mitchell’s legendary Royal Studios in Memphis  (site of the recording of Mark Ronson’s and Bruno Marrs’ Grammy winning Uptown Funk as well as every Al Green classic you can think of).

Now you can see both her and her incredible band live at LF18!

WARD THOMAS could tell that change was afoot from the moment they wrote Cartwheels,  the punch-to-the-stomach title track of their sensational second album. Straight away the sisters Catherine and Lizzy Ward knew the song was special.

What they didn’t know was that their second album ‘Cartwheels’ would sail to #1 on the UK Album Chart on release making them the first ever UK country act to do so.

Ward Thomas is now playing to world wide acclaim along way from the farm in rural Hampshire where they grew up.

Don't miss them on LF Main Stage! They are fantastic!

Rick Parfitt Jnr and his Band need no introduction for regular Lowde Fest goers. He is an absolute favourite with audiences where ever he plays. This man has inherited all the genes from his genious father, the late, great, Rick Parfitt.

Now back to LF18 with his band, RPJ will be bringing our festival to its ulitmate climax, with a festival end of show party like no other....don't miss this rockstar (and racing driver) owning the LF stage!

SHAKATAK became a household name in the UK in the 1980's with a string of hit singles including: Down on the Street, and Invitations. They then went on to score unprecedented international success with the release of the classic ‘Nightbirds” recording and the title track has now become a go-to standard.

Alongside an incredible recording career, Shakatak has an enviable track record of live performances across the world. They now play to huge sell out festivals, and concert halls and have continued to tour for nearly 40 years since their first hit.

We are excited and delighted to be welcoming them to the Lowde Fest Main Stage!

BRIGHTLIGHT CITY were chosen alongside Asylums as one of 5 up and coming bands to be heard be Relentless and Zane Lowe. They were then  flown out to Canada to perform at a festival headlined by Rise Against.

Alongside tour supports with Blood Youth, Max Raptor, Fizzy Blood & Young Legionnaire, the've also recorded and self released 2 EPs and 2 singles.

All of this has been backed up by plays on Radio X, 6 Music, Kerrang, BBC introducing and Amazing Radio.

They turned in an amazing performance on the LF2 stage last year and by popular request they are now back, but this time on the LF Main Stage...Don't miss their high energy and totally enthralling performance.

Whether it’s a horse on the keyboards, a fox on bass, her Majesty the Queen on drums, the Devil himself playing guitar or Elvis singing…you just never know quite what you’re going to get when 29Fingers hit the stage.

Mixing it up with massive tunes from all the best bands these boys and girls (and woodland creatures) have been partying the world over since the century began. Dishing out a great big fix of fun mid afternoon on the main stage with 29Fingers.

SUBURBAN SYMPHONY formed in Jan 2014; and are a 5 piece band from the UK writing songs with memorable vocal melodies, three part harmonies & pounding rhythms and they last played Lowde Fest in 2016.

The band went onto release their debut single 'Stepping Stones' on 1st Aug 2017. Following this, on the 4th Sept 2017 the band then released their self titled debut album which they promoted by supporting The Feeling, From The Jam, Big Country, The Skids and many other established and up and coming acts.

Previous to this they also enjoyed performing at Camden Rocks on the same line up as The Cribs and have played many up and coming festivals in spreading the word. The EP features grammy winner J Ivy (Who has featured with Kanye West & Jay Z), and is descibed as melodic pop/rock with electronic undertones.

Fond Of Rudy are an indie-pop 4 piece band. The songs are developed from a heartfelt core, washed with stylistic references from 80s icons and revived to a state of modernity through contemporary production. The music attempts to encapsulate a feeling, an emotion, or a state of mind rather than simply a mindful melody.

The bands tracks have been sourced by national radio, including plays on BBC Introducing London, Amazing Radio.

Being featured on a number of international Hype Machine certified blogs helped the band secure festival slots last year at The Great Escape, Blissfields, Brownstock and Leefest.

It seems their success so far has been in part down to having the right music at the right time – a point further proved when earlier this year they caught the ear of the organisers of Canadian Music Week and secured a showcase for the festival in 2017, which was funded by the International Showcase Fund - PRS For Music Foundation.

Simon Kent releases his new album, “In Another Life”, on 27 April 2018 via Absolute. The album follows hot on the heels of the success of his single, “Never Stop Believing”, which scooped airplay on Janice long’s Radio 2 show, Stateside, and across more than 40 UK radio stations; as well as Simon recently sharing the stage with the likes of Echo & The Bunnymen, Toyah, Nell Bryden, China Crisis and Blair Dunlop.

Now, Simon Kent launches an epic new album proving that this artist means serious business on the UK music scene. He played Lowde Fest 3 years ago and we are excited to be welcoming him back to the main stage.
