A rich, full bodied best bitter in the traditional Kent style. Finest Maris Otter pale ale malt and crystal malt for colour and richness. Hopped with local Kent Northdown and Finchcocks’ Whitbread Golding Variety and finished in the Hop Rocket with Progress hops from Scotney Castle and Goldings from Finchcocks hop garden for a full flavour and aroma.
Straw yellow lager (that means lagered or matured for 4 weeks) hopped with Czech grown Saaz or Zatec noble hops with a distinctive hop aroma and bitterness usually found in Bohemian pilsners. Brewed with the finest English lager malt and fermented with a lager yeast and then cold conditioned for 4 weeks. Pilsners are traditionally quite bitter and this version is no different.
Based on a classic IPA recipe which uses Imperial Malt along with Chinook, Simcoe and Pacific Jade hops. However the additional special ingredients of Jaggery (raw cane sugar from India bought from Southall market), Jasmine Petals, Cardamom and Coriander produce a distinctive twist to this “Indies Pale Ale”. The resultant beer is a pale, smooth, full IPA with a distinct bitterness and with a hop aroma that is enhanced by a touch of the exotic!
With an original gravity of 1075, at 7.4% ABV CONQUEROR 1075 is a true strength IPA. But that’s where comparisons to other IPA’s stop. CONQUEROR 1075 is an award winning black, rich and complex IPA brewed from a unique blend of five speciality malts along with Cascade and Pacific Jade whole leaf hops.
A burnished gold, full-bodied, premium ale. ‘Butty Bach’ is Welsh term meaning ‘little friend’. This smooth and satisfying premium ale is burnished gold in colour, and certainly has made a few friends in its time – including the judges at The Great Welsh Beer Festival, where it has been crowned ‘Beer of the Festival’ on three occasions! Butty Bach is brewed using Maris Otter and Crystal malts, flaked barley, malted wheat, and locally grown Fuggles, Goldings and Bramling Cross hops. With such fine ingredients, no wonder it remains a firm favourite among our followers.
