It's all about the Beer

We will be adding new beers right up to the day of the festival!

Andwell Brewery - Andwell near Hook

"Golden blonde ale with fresh taste and citrus aroma"

Named after a fishing fly used for luring trout, this Blonde Ale has a refreshing palate due to the use of high quality pale ale malt. By blending different hops at various stages of the brewing process, Andwell’s have produced a beautiful beer with a citrus aroma and balanced bitterness.

ABV 3.9%

"Rich amber beer with a fruity hoppyness"

This Pale Ale takes its name from the castle built by King John in 1207, which is located less than a mile from the original Brewery, and from where he rode out to Runnymede to sign the Magna Carta. The beer itself is deep amber in colour with a blend of pale ale and crystal malt. The bitterness and fruity aroma are developed from a combination of hops.

ABV 4.2%

"Light amber best bitter with balanced aromas & bitterness"

Taking its name from a town within the high Arctic, despite its cool name this is the sort of bitter that you’ll easily warm to. Andwell’s Best Bitter combines the finest malt and hops to produce a well balanced malty and hoppy flavour with a light amber colour.

ABV 3.8 %

"Rich ruby ale with a fruity aroma"

This ale is named after a deep red dragon fly found in local rivers and wetlands. The beer includes malted rye to create its characteristic ruby glow. The flavours and aromas derive from a combination of English hops.

ABV 4.6%

Dark Star Brewery - Horsham

A chestnut bronze-coloured bitter with a smooth mouthfeel and freshness; a classic style strong bitter brewed as a Dark Star version of Festive, a former great Sussex beer from King & Barnes.

ABV 5.0%

An extremely clean-drinking pale golden ale with a strong floral aroma and elderflower notes from the Cascade hops. This beer is full-bodied and full-flavoured yet gentle enough to make it a favourite session beer.

ABV 3.8%

The brewery’s eponymous former Champion Beer of Britain. A dark, strong and bitter beer that defies classification. It has a complex malt flavour with a hint of burnt flavour from the mixture of Crystal and Chocolate grist.

ABV 5.0%

A Best Bitter brewed in a traditional Sussex style using Maris Otter, Crystal and Chocolate malts with East Kent Golding hops. Typical of Dark Star ales, the Best Bitter relies on the heavy handed addition of aromatic hops late in the boil.

ABV 4.0%

Triple fff Brewery - Four Marks near Alton

A traditional English bitter brewed using water from the Hampshire chalk hills. Full and clean tasting, initially malty then tangerine fruit and resinous hop build to a quenching bitter finish. Camra Supreme Champion Beer of Britain 2008

ABV 3.8%

As the evenings get lighter, so does the beer. A soft refreshing bitter with American Cluster hops to wake up your taste buds. Initial summer fruit flavours recede to hints of blackcurrant with a gentle bitterness, a name so unusual you’ve just got to try the beer!

ABV 4.2%

A cask conditioned real lager. Brewed with lager malt and a traditional lager yeast. Crisp, dry with a hint of sweetness. Light apple and melon flavours with a balanced soft bitterness from the American Ahtanum hops. Flavourful and refreshing but never shaken or stirred!

ABV 5.5%

One of our original recipes brewed since 1997, a pale ale with copious amounts of American Cascade hops. Wonderfully aromatic floral nose balanced by a gentle bitterness with a hint of sweetness. No wonder this beer has won the most awards of all the beers in our range.

ABV 4.2%

Pale ale with a flavour of summer fruits, thirst quenching, well balanced with a long finish.

ABV 4.6%
