THE KEITH BENNETT STAGE

SHOWCASING THE BEST IN NEW MUSIC

CARA HAMMOND is an indie pop, singer-songwriter artist,  from North Wales, now based in London. Her music is described as soulful-pop with influence from some of her favorite artists: Amy Winehouse, Lianne La Havas, and Paolo Nutini.

In 2019 Cara released a series of singles, including her latest  Such A Mess, which has been added to the BBC Introducing Hotlist.

Summer 2019 was  an incredible time for Cara. Alongside regularly performing in London, she played mesmerising sets at several UK festivals including Boomtown, Pennfest, and How The Lights Gets In. Other highlights of her live performances include playing at Love Supreme, opening for Mahalia and Charlotte Church, and appearing on a BBC Introducing showcase. Now she takes to the Keith Bennett stage for LF20.

AMIE Amie is a 19 year old solo artist from Bedfordshire. He started off as an acoustic artist but in the last year has been working to expand his artistic expression to something much more contemporary.

With a mix of pop, hip/hop and alternative RnB Amie draws influence from artists such as Khalid, Jeremy Zucker, Lauv etc. whilst maintaining a strong sense of identity within his own music. Amie doesn't know where a future in music may take him, but we know he will be on the Keith Bennett Stage on 11th July 2020.

DAISY CHUTE is Edinburgh-born, half-American and a folk songstress and multi-instrumentalist with a particular penchant for the banjo. Formerly of Decca’s platinum-selling classical group All Angels, she is excited to be working on her début album of original songs with producer and songwriter Tim Baxter.

DAISY is regular in the London music scene and an award-winning singer and songwriter having just been awarded first place in the Coffee Music Project singer-songwriter competition.  Mentored by rock royalty Sir Ray Davies, and featured as a vocalist on Radiohead's latest album A Moon Shaped Pool, she even got the thumbs up from Sir Paul McCartney after a performance at the Royal Albert Hall.

One of Paul Sexton's 'top music tips' for 2018, Daisy's music has been compared to Simon and Garfunkel and Joni Mitchell (BBC Radio Kent) with her voice has being described as “Exquisitely delicious"

Over the coming weeks we will be announcing more great musicians playing the KEITH BENNETT STAGE. One of the key founding principles of THE LOWDE MUSIC TRUST, which we shared with the late Keith Bennett, was the importance of supporting new creative talent. Stay tuned for more information on the line up both here and on facebook.
