TOYAH

From punk princess to cult stage actress to high priestess of TV, TOYAH WILLCOX is a uniquely gifted performer and an inextinguishable flame. Charismatic, outspoken and impossible to categorise, she is one of Britain’s iconic household names – an award-winning rock legend with a career spanning over 40 years.

Toyah has amassed thirteen top 40 singles, recorded twenty-four albums, written two books, appeared in over forty stage plays, acted in twenty feature films and presented hundreds of television programmes.

The hit singles It’s A Mystery, I Want to Be Free, Brave New World and platinum-selling albums Anthem and The Changeling confirmed her status as one of the most significant talents of the 1980s.

CAROL DECKER, T'Pau

T’pau burst onto the music scene in 1987 wit the hit Heart & Soul reaching No. 4 in both the UK & US charts. Taken from the debut album Bridge Of Spies. It’s innovative use of a rap verse by a white female vocalist introduced the world to the distinctive lead vocals of Carol Decker.

Heart & Soul led to a meteoric rise in T’pau’s fortunes at home and in the USA, where the track stayed on the US Chart for 6 months. Nobody could have predicted the impact of their next single, the classic ballad China In Your Hand which stayed at No. 1 for 5 weeks - the longest serving No. 1 of the year.

After further hits Valentine, I Will Be With You, and Sex Talk The “Bridge Of Spies album was certified quadruple platinum in the UK, selling 1.2 million copies. 1988’s Rage also went platinum.

CLARE GROGAN, Altered Images

CLARE has worked extensively in Music, Film, Television, Theatre and Radio for 30+ years. The summer she left school her band ALTERED IMAGES were signed to Sony Records and Clare appeared in the BAFTA winning comedy GREGORY’S GIRL.

SONIA

Sonia was signed to Chrysalis Records after repeatedly asking Pete Waterman to listen to her sing outside his studio in Liverpool. Waterman instead asked her to sing live on his weekly radio show, and she was soon signed up.

Her debut single 'You'll Never Stop Me Loving You' was written and produced by the production trio Mike Stock, Matt Aitken and Pete Waterman (Stock Aitken Waterman). Aged just 18, she was one of the youngest female British singers to achieve this a number one hit.

Between 1989 and 1993, she also had 11 top 30 hits, including 'Listen to Your Heart', 'Counting Every Minute' and 'Only Fools (Never Fall in Love)'. In 1993 she represented the United Kingdom in the Eurovision Song Contest, finishing second with 'Better the Devil You Know'.
