As a tribute to the late Keith Bennett, the LF team have renamed the LF2 as The Keith Bennett Stage. Keith had been deeply involved in the growth and development of Lowde Fest over the last 10 years. He was always on hand to help as we built the event out. Speaking about his friend, Martin Lowde (founder of Lowde Fest) explained "Keith's passion for great music and especially for new and upcoming talent was immense, so it felt totally right that we should rename this stage in his honour. He is sadly missed, but never forgotten. Thanks Keith!" You can find out more about the Keith Bennett Stage here

18.04.20 - 11am

It is with great sadness that we have to announce the postponement of Lowde Fest 2020.

We had been hoping that it might still be possible to continue with the event, but in the light of recent advice from the authorities, plus the announcement of a continued lock down, as well as conversations with other organisers of public and sporting events, we have had to conclude that LF20 will not be feasible in July this year.

We are therefore postponing the event to the 10th July 2021.

In line with the policy on this website we will ensure that everyone’s tickets are automatically valid for the new date. You will not need to do anything.

We  are really grateful for your ongoing support and hope that you will all be able to join us in 2021.

We are also very conscious that this might not suit everyone and if you are unable to make the new date then we are setting up a ticket exchange programme. Please note this is not a guaranteed refund for your ticket. But if you are genuinely unable to come next year then we want to help and will seek to resell your tickets for you.

Unfortunately there is a cost to the charity in running this programme and we need to charge a 15% transaction cost. However, if your tickets are resold via the LF Ticket Exchange we will pay you the price of the tickets minus 15%. Full details will be published in due course on this website.

We are really sorry to be in this situation, but we are obviously in uncharted waters as a country. If you would like to get in touch with us, please contact but we request that you don’t call our office at this time as our volunteer team are currently working remotely and at home.

The Box Office will remain open for new ticket purchases for LF21.

From everyone at Lowde Fest we wish you all well, please do stay safe and we hope to see you all for  the most amazing summer festival next year.

Yours sincerely

Martin Lowde - Festival Director

Additional Notes: If you are a sponsor, supplier, performer, or have any other business questions please contact the director you have been dealing with. They will also be reaching out to you over the coming days.

02.04.20 - 11am

We are continuing to try and deliver LF20 in July this year, but in the face of the current situation it is obviously not easy. At this time we have not taken any final decisions and we will continue to make sure we keep everyone informed.

If in anyway we feel that it is not safe, or that government guidelines and advice is that we should not go ahead then we will have to take the decision to postpone the event until July 2021. However we are aware that charities, musicians and many small businesses are going to need events like Lowde Fest in order to survive. Plus, we are aware that at some point in the future we will all need to come together again as a community and have a really good party - our mission is to strive to make it happen, whether this year or in 2021.

Tickets will remain on sale and in line with the policy set out on the ticket page, we will ensure that everyone's tickets will still be valid in 2021, if we are forced to postpone the event.  In the spirit of "every little helps" we have also taken the decision to extend the Early Bird purchase prices until further notice.

Obviously these are unprecedented circumstances and we really appreciate your support and consideration during this time.

Stay safe, and let's all continue to help each other through this difficult time.

Martin Lowde - Festival Director

As you will understand we are monitoring the national situation very carefully and at this time we are doing everything we can to ensure LF20 goes ahead and is another fantastic event.

Please be assured that we will always follow Government guidelines and be working closely with the local authorities to ensure the safety of our customers, staff, volunteers and performers.

At this point we simply don't know if the event will have to be postponed, but we sincerely hope that by July, outdoor events like Lowde Fest will be feasible.

We know only too well that many businesses, musicians and suppliers depend on events like this for their livelihood, as well as the Lowde Music Trust for which the event is a major fund raiser. With this in mind we will continue to plan for a fabulous outdoor festival on 11th July 2020. We will provide regular updates on this website and through our social media and of course notify you if there is any enforced change to this position.

In the mean time - stay safe, and let's all help each other through this difficult time.

Martin Lowde - Festival Director 2020
